Annual Awards and Appreciation Banquet 2003

 

Palm Harbor Fire Rescue held their Annual Awards and Appreciation banquet at the Palm Harbor Senior Activity Center on December 5, 2003. At this event, a number of awards are given. This year Lieutenant Craig Rogers was awarded the Firefighter of the Year award. The Employee of the Year was awarded to Lt Bob Markford. Crew citations were also awarded for several emergency incidents. Five, ten, fifteen, and twenty-year service pins were also distributed. The Members of the Department thank the Board of Fire Commissioners, Staff members, and IAFF Local 2980 for their ongoing support of this event.

Firefighter of the Year award recipient Lieutenant Craig Rogers was unable to attend. The award was accepted by his wife.
Lt. Kurt Fritz, District Chief Tom Fritz, FF/EMT Greg Nolan, and Lt. Milton Smith are recognized for 15 years service to the Department. Commissioner Robert Shatanoff is recognized for 10 years service to the Department.
FF/Paramedic Rob McNaull is recognized for 5 years service to the Department. Deputy Chief Jim Olson presents to Chief Angle a framed photo of all Department members that he created.
All current and past members of the Fire Department's Auxiliary "Fully Involved" are given a gift in appreciation for all they do for the Department each year.
Lynn takes a minute break, in between taking pictures, and after some very hard work in making this year's banquet a success.
