Heartsaver CPR

 

This is a basic CPR course which covers infant, adult and child CPR.  This course is not intended for health care professionals.

 

You must be at least 12 years old to attend this class.

 

Palm Harbor Fire Rescue offers the AHA’s Heartsaver course on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.  The schedule for the rest of 2008 is as follows:

TIME

 

The classes begin promptly at 6:30.  You will want to get to class at 6:20 as it  will take about 10 minutes for you to sign in,
get your supplies, and a receipt for the course fee (CASH ONLY).  The class will run approx. 2-1/2 hours.

COST

 

Effective October 1, 2008 the  Department will charge the following fees for CPR classes that we provide.

 

Palm Harbor Fire District Residents: $25 (Participant will have to show ID or other form of proof of address)
 

Non Palm Harbor Fire District Residents: $ 50
 

(CASH ONLY.)  This cost includes a Heartsaver Card and CPR handbook which you will take with you. 

 

  

REGISTRATION

 

You must be registered in advance to take the class.  If you would like to sign up for an upcoming class, please contact us at cpr@palmharborfd.com and give us your name, a daytime contact number and the date of the class you would like to attend.  You will be notified via e-mail if your registration has been received.

 

 

CANCELLATIONS

 

Classes are limited to 15.  If you have registered to take a class and find you are unable to attend, please call in advance so that someone else can take the class in your place.
